Data from the American Burn Institute proves inhalation injury increases the mortality rate from flash fire significantly. The Summit Breeze® vented design keeps the wearer cooler, decreasing the chances of heat stress while also redirecting a majority of the off gas away from the breathing zone during a flash fire or arc flash event.

Patented Summit Breeze® Series Technology offers mesh venting that is incorporated onto the back and under the arms. This Triple Vent construction helps keep the wearer much cooler in warmer environments.

Garments with a cape vented back are constructed in such a way as to to allow air flow in and out of the garment, keeping the wearer cooler in warm environments. The opening that allows air flow is covered by a protective flap, or cape, that prevents hazards from entering the garment.
